Freycinet Lodge is located within Freycinet National Park, on Tasmania’s east coast.
We are a two and a half hour drive from Hobart and two hours from Launceston.
We are just inside the Freycinet National Park boundary, so you will need a Tasmanian National Parks Pass if you are staying at Freycinet Lodge. You do not need a parks pass if you just visiting the Lodge during the day and do not wish to use park tracks. Park passes can be arranged upon arrival at the Lodge or at the Freycinet National Park Visitor Centre.

**IMPORTANT NOTICE TO GUESTS TRAVELLING TO AND FROM HOBART**
Please note that the Tasman Highway (approx. 1.5km from Orford) will be closed from 11.55pm Friday 28 May 2021 due to the undertaking of important safety works.
An alternate route to the Lodge is available via the Midland Highway and Lake Leake Road. This route will only add an additional 15 – 30 minutes to your journey. While Wielangta Road can be used, it is a gravel road and is not suitable for large volumes of traffic. Please drive to the conditions if you choose this route.
