Your Itinerary

Departing from Freycinet Lodge, your local guide will lead you over the spectacular Hazards mountain range to the Wineglass Bay Lookout for breathtaking views. Capture a group photo with your guide before descending a scenic Eucalypt-lined track to the pristine white sands of Wineglass Bay beach. Enjoy a hot drink and morning tea amidst the stunning surroundings.

Next, head west to discover the beautiful Hazards Beach. Walk the shoreline (barefoot if you like), learn about local wildlife and the history of the pink granite peaks, and enjoy a packed picnic lunch on it's remote sandy shores. Explore the beach for hidden treasures and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.

Conclude your adventure with a scenic Aqua Taxi ride back to Freycinet Lodge, offering a unique view of the peninsula from the water. As you return to the lodge, reflect on your memorable day exploring Freycinet National Park’s natural wonders.

Important tour information

Minimum numbers: We require a minimum of 4 guests to guarantee each departure.

Weather contingencies: This tour operates in all weather. We offer alternative itineraries for unfavourable wind conditions and provide rain jackets, backpacks with rain covers. In extreme weather, we cancel and refund for safety.

National parks pass: These are not included in tour fee and can be purchased from the Freycinet National Parks Visitors Centre, Freycinet Lodge or online. It is guests responsibility to be carrying a valid Parks Pass.
