Or choose to take your wedding ceremony to a nearby location inside the National Park, some options include sleep Bay beach, Richardson Beach, Friendly Beaches or Cape Tourville Lighthouse.
Yes, in fact we highly encourage you to visit either as a day trip, an overnight stay or even for the weeked. This way we can dedicate time to you and only you. We can show you the restaurants, private rooms, Honeymoon Bay and the lodge grounds. We take the time to answer all your questions and this way you also get to meet the team who will look after you on the big day!
We offer discounted accommodation for all group bookings above 10 rooms. The discount will vary depending on the time of year and availability.
We will bring your ceremony inside to an available space at no extra charge. Usually, this is inside the Freycinet Room or at the bottom of the stairs in the Hazards Lounge with Great Oyster Bay in the background. We require a minimum of 3 hours’ notice to allow staff to make the necessary arrangements.
The ceremony space will be allocated by the manager on the day and will be based on the needs of all in-house hotel guests.
If there is another small event booking already confirmed on your wedding day we will let you know at the time of your initial inquiry. We will not book two weddings on the same day.
Yes, we can store the cake in the kitchen area until it’s needed. A wedding cake is not included in your wedding package. We have a cake knife or bring your own wedding knife and serving tools.
Yes, the extra accommodation nights will be charged to your account.
Yes, we have children’s menus and soft drink packages to choose from. There are also rates for accommodation.
- Infant: 0-4 inclusive, meals are free of charge
- Children: 5-14 inclusive, charged at 50% of adult rate for meals
- 15 + years, charged as per adult.
We do not have babysitting services onsite.
For elopements mid-morning or early afternoon. Try to avoid midday. For weddings remember to give your guests who are traveling on the day some time to check-in and freshen up.
No, you only need to hold a valid parks pass.
Yes, we can provide one however, you will be responsible for using, we do not offer a laundry service.
There is one full length mirror in each Coastal Pavilion.
The lodge is very wheel-chair friendly with ramps, a lift and a wheelchair-accessible room as part of the main building. If you are having your ceremony offsite and inside the National Park it is best that you contact parks to discuss accessibility.
Yes, many of our brides do this because the flowers are usually collected on the way.
No, our hire fees and menus tend to remain at the same rate throughout the year. Keep in mind accommodation may be cheaper between May and September and some weekdays. Weddings held on a Sunday or public holiday incur a 15% surcharge. (This does not include elopements).
Yes, only a bouquet and boutonniere.
