If you are yet to make plans for your time at Freycinet Lodge, here are some of my favourite experiences:

The Wineglass Bay Cruise is a great way to explore the national park via water. They depart daily at 10am and take you around the peninsula into the iconic Wineglass Bay. It takes around 4.5hrs and includes a delicious lunch.

If you want something very special (and scenic), I’d suggest Freycinet Air. There’s definitely no better way to explore Freycinet National Park than by air! They consistently receive fantastic Trip Advisor reviews and I highly recommend them.

Prefer to stay on land? Experiential Tasmania have just launched a half-day, small group walking tour within the park. An experienced local guide will take you deep into the park to the breathtaking Wineglass Bay and Hazards Beach, before you return to the Lodge on the Freycinet Aqua Taxi. The tour departs the Lodge daily at 8.00am and returns at approx. 1.30pm. It also includes a gourmet picnic lunch to enjoy at Hazards Beach!

If you feel like some more action and adventure, I can recommend the All4Adventures ATV QUAD Bike Tours. They take you out to explore some remote locations within the national park.

And something more relaxing, but still with some effort involved, could be the guided kayak tour with Freycinet Adventures.

If you want to put a focus on food, we can arrange a Hazards Seafood Indulgence Package. This gourmet package for two includes a delicious cold selection of local seafood and a nice bottle of bubbles or wine packed up for a picnic at Hazards Beach. The Freycinet Aqua Taxi will pick you up from our private jetty and drop you off at Hazards Beach. You relax at this pristine location, enjoy your picnic with time to explore before the aqua taxi collects you later in the day.
